Communication failure or strange front panel behavior on any Cytec units with IF-9 through IF-11 Rev 3 LAN Control Modules built between 9/2012 and 3/2021. Serial # Range 185595 to 217088. Usually shows up after reboot, power loss or turning unit back on after long period of storage. The battery used to store firmware in memory has died or is marginal. Does not effect all units. Contact Cytec if interested in newer control module that no longer needs the battery and permanently fixes the issue.
