Communication failure or strange front panel behavior on any Cytec units with IF-9 through IF-11 Rev 3 LAN Control Modules built between 9/2012 and 3/2021. Serial # Range 185595 to 217088. Usually shows up after reboot, power loss or turning unit back on after long period of storage. The battery used to store firmware in memory has died or is marginal. Does not effect all units. Some relays can show higher than normal contact resistance over the years due to lack of use and the contacts can be cleaned up by cycling the relays at a high rate of speed which wipees the contacts clean. Program may also be used for troubleshooting potential problems. We definitely recommend contacting someone at Cytec before using this program. The program requires having National Instruments LABView software installed or at least having the National Instruments run time libraries installed.
