The CXAR Series are computer-controlled coaxial switching systems for 50 or 75 ohm RF Signals up to 2.5 GHz, or low leakage signals down to 100 femtoamps. These systems are typically used to configure 1xN multiplexers. Mainframes hold a variety of different switch modules to form the desired configuration. All systems are available with Ethernet LAN, IEEE488 (GPIB), & RS232 (standard) and USB (optional) control. Pushbutton Manual Control is available on CXAR/16 and CXAR/32 Mainframes. Keypad or Pushwheel Manual Control is available for systems larger that 32 switchpoints. CP8 Display/Driver Modules are required for switch modules installed in CXAR/128 Mainframes and CP16 Display/Driver Modules are required for CXAR/256 Mainframes. These are included in the price.

These switch modules use 100 ohm differential pair impedance two pole relays and strip lines for switching of balanced lines and differential digital or analog signals. BNC connectors switching center conductor and outer concentric or Twin-ax / Twin BNC connectors switching inner conductors with outer concentric used as a grounded shield.
