Cytec Corp. has reviewed the European Union directive that restricts the us of lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium (VI), PBBs and PBDEs in electrical and electronic equipment, RoHS Restriction of Hazardous Substances, and has determined that the RoHS-banned substance of concern for the products manufactured by Cytec is leaded solder. Most Cytec products can be manufactured using leaded or lead-free solder by selecting that option through the sales department. Cytec is committed to monitoring the standards for the assessment of electrical and electronic products with respect to the restriction of hazardous substances.
