There is currently a known issue for some systems built between late 2016 and March of 2021 where a battery on the control module may go dead. This usually shows up when the unit is powered down after a long period of being left on and then will not operate when turned back on. Symptoms may include flashing LEDs on the front panel, garbled text on the LCD screen or failure to communicate through any interface. You may get the system back up and running again by replacing the battery on the control module and Cytec will replace the control module with a version that does not need the battery at no charge to fix the problem permanently.
